Orlando Theme Parks Set to Close As a Result of Hurricane Matthew
Orlando parks closed over the next few days
The latest information on the theme park closures in Orlando...

Due to severe weather brought on by Hurricane Matthew, many of the Orlando theme parks have announced closures over the next few days. The parks plan to reopen as soon as weather conditions improve and it is safe to do so. Due to the unpredictable nature of hurricanes the following information is subject to change. Universal Orlando Resort:

Universal Studios FloridaUniversal's Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk will all close today (Thursday 6th October) at 5pm, and will all remain closed on Friday 7th October. Halloween Horror Nights has been cancelled on both Thursday 6th and Friday 7th October.

 

Disney:

The Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs, miniature golf courses, water parks and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will shut at 5pm Thursday 6th October and remain closed on Friday 7th October.

 

Aquatica:

Aquatica will be closed Thursday 6th and Friday 7th October with plans to reopen on Saturday 8th at 10am.

 

SeaWorld:

SeaWorld will be open today from 10am-2pm (Thursday 6th October) and closed all day Friday 7th October. The park will reopen on Saturday 8th at 10am.

 

Discovery Cove:

Discovery Cove close at the earlier time of 2pm today (Thursday 6th October) and will be closed all day Friday 7th October. The park is set to reopen on Saturday 8th October at 7:15am. If you have already booked tickets for Friday 7th, please contact Discovery Cove (877-557-7404) and they will try to reschedule your visit or provide a full refund if you cannot make another day due to your travel dates.

 

Coca-Cola Orlando Eye:

The Orlando Eye will be closed all day Thursday 6th October and Friday 7th October. Madame Tussauds Orlando and SEA LIFE Orlando will also be closed until weather conditions improve.

 

Wild Florida:

Wild Florida will be closed both Thursday 6th and Friday 7th October.

 

Kennedy Space Center:

The Kennedy Space Center will be closed Thursday 6th and Friday 7th October with plans to reopen at 9am on Saturday 8th.

 

LEGOLAND Florida:

LEGOLAND Florida is expected to open today as usual although there is a possibility that the park may close early. The park will be closed all day Friday 7th October and is expected to reopen on Saturday 8th. The LEGOLAND Hotel will remain open to admit arriving guests.

 

Typhoon Lagoon:

The water park will be closed all day Friday 7th October.

 

Blizzard Beach:

Blizzard Beach will be closed both Thursday 6th October and Friday 7th.

 

WonderWorks:

WonderWorks will be closing from 2pm today (Thursday 6th October).

 

FunSpot:

FunSpot will be closed both Thursday 6th October and Friday 7th October, and is scheduled to reopen at 10am on Saturday 8th.

 

Wet 'N Wild: 

The park will be closing at 2pm Thursday 6th October and will be closed all day on Friday 7th
