Sliding into Aquatica Orlando next year is this exciting new attraction, where you can challenge your friends and family in a race to the finish line!
Riptide Race is opening at the Florida attraction in 2020, and will be the state’s first duelling racer, taking place through high speed tunnels.
Riders will slide side by side and face-to-face in racing lanes, spiraling down from a 68-foot tower. Hop into a raft - which holds up to two riders - and whizz down the tubes, which feature low walls and tight loops.
There’s indoor and outdoor sections of the attraction, and almost 650 feet of slide. Riptide Race will be built next to the park’s Banana Beach Cook Out.
“Riptide Race will offer a ride experience you won’t be able to get anywhere else in Florida,” said David Heaton (Aquatica Orlando VP).
“Aquatica will be the first water park in the state to have a thrilling, more importantly, dueling water slide,” he added.
That’s not all that’s coming to the SeaWorld Parks next year - SeaWorld Orlando will welcome the thrilling new “Ice Breaker,” while Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is opening “Iron Gwazi” too. Click here to read all about the upcoming rollercoasters.
