London Merlin Attractions

We’ve put together a suggested itinerary for a fun-filled day in the capital, based on the 3 Attraction London Cluster Ticket. With this ticket you’ll be able to visit Madame Tussauds and the Coca-Cola London Eye, plus one attraction of your choice from the London Dungeon, SEA LIFE London OR Shrek’s Adventure. For our itinerary, we’ve chosen to visit SEA LIFE.

Here’s some inspiration for your day…

Early morning:

We’d recommend starting your day at the SEA LIFE London aquarium as this attraction opens earliest (usually around 9:30am). You’ll be able to admire more than 600 different species of marine life here, including sharks, rays, penguins, turtles and of course lots of exotic fish.

Arriving early is a good idea because you’ll have time to explore some of the amazing aquarium zones before watching one of the free shark talks which begin from 10:30am. You’ll get to learn lots of interesting facts about these mesmerising creatures from one of the SEA LIFE experts. There’s usually an octopus feeding session at 11am, so make sure you try to catch that too.

Sea Life London Aquarium penguins

There’s so much to see at SEA LIFE London, but Ray Lagoon, Penguin Point, Conservation Cove and the Ocean Tunnel are some of our favourite places to visit.

Once you’ve explored the aquarium and spotted your favourite sea creatures it’s time to have a quick bite to eat for lunch, before moving on to your next attraction. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, so you won’t be stuck for choice.

London Eye

Now it’s time for an exciting adventure on the Coca-Cola London Eye. Get ready to take flight as you ascend 135-metres into the sky. The London Eye is the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel, boasting impressive 40-kilometre panoramic views on a clear day!

London Eye

Look out for some of London’s most iconic landmarks along the way including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and St Paul’s Cathedral. Your journey will last around 30 minutes and will give you the chance to see London like never before. Each capsule has a tablet which will give you more information about the fascinating landmarks around you.

After your incredible flight on the London Eye, the next and final stop of the day is Madame Tussauds. This is just a short journey from the London Eye and is really easy to get to. There are several different ways to get there, but we’d recommend taking a short walk to London Waterloo Underground Station (approx. 6 minutes) where you can get the Jubilee line underground to Baker Street. The journey will only take you around 8 minutes and when you arrive, you’ll be just a 1 minute walk away from Madame Tussauds- simple!

Madame Tussauds London Prince Harry and Meghan

You’ll want to make sure your phone is fully charged because you’ll be snapping plenty of selfies at Madame Tussauds. This is the place where you can get up close to some of the world’s most famous celebrities. Look out for music, tv, film and sports stars as well as fashion icons, world leaders and even royalty. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (aka their royal likenesses!) are some of the newest additions to Madame Tussauds, so you should definitely pay them a visit.

You can also expect to see the likes of Tom Hardy, Adele, Kim Kardashian, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Helen Mirren, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Usain Bolt, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and even the Queen! If you want to have some serious fun, you can create your very own GIF in the brand new Glow Room Experience with features the newest figure at Madame Tussauds- Dua Lipa. The new waxwork has already been given the seal of approval by the star herself. Then, spend the rest of your afternoon exploring each area of Madame Tussauds and getting up close to your heroes.

There are also lots of fun experiences to try including an immersive Star Wars experience featuring familiar faces from the movies, an exciting Sherlock Holmes experience and a Marvel 4D movie. Make sure you save enough time to check these out too.

Out itinerary is a handy guide if you’re looking to spend a full day sightseeing and want to discover London’s top attractions. But, with so much to see, you might want to spend more time at each attraction. Your ticket is valid for 90 days, so you have full flexibility to visit whenever you like and can spend a day at each attraction if you want to. You can also purchase a London Cluster Ticket that gives you admission to 5 or all 6 of Merlin’s London attractions which is perfect if you want to see it all!
