1. Food & Drink
When you visit Discovery Cove all of your food and drink (including alcoholic drinks) for the day is included, which means you won’t have to spend a penny! Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive park, offering unlimited food and drink during your visit. You’ll be able to start the day off with a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns and French toast, or choose from a range of delicious pastries and muffins. There’s also cereal, yoghurts, oatmeal and lots of fruit available.
When you’re ready for lunch, make your way over to the Laguna Grill. You’ll find mouth-watering dishes like Caribbean spiced salmon, grilled churrasco steak, jerk chicken, pasta marinara, vegetable wraps and salads. There’s also a separate kid’s menu with pasta, marinara, macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders and hot dogs. Make sure you save some room for dessert as there are lots of sweet treats to enjoy at the Laguna Grill, including Pina Colada cupcakes, chocolate cake, carrot cake, New York style cheesecake and mixed fruit.
While breakfast and lunch have set meal times, you can get tasty snacks throughout the day at kiosks located throughout the park. You can choose from sugar-free cookies, warm soft pretzels, crisps, and fruit, and you can get as many as you like!
Don’t forget about the drinks! There’s a wide variety of drinks to choose from, including gourmet coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bottled water and ice-cold beverages. Guests over the age of 21 can enjoy beer and wine too.

There are lots of family friendly attractions too, like the new Sesame Street land at SeaWorld and the amazing animal experiences at both SeaWorld and Busch Gardens.
Aquatica is the perfect place to go to cool off from the heat. This amazing water park has something for everyone, from exciting new attractions like Ray Rush and KareKare Curl to the relaxing lazy river.
3. Wetsuits & Snorkels
Wetsuits can be expensive to buy and if you’ll only be using them for one day you might not want to spend the money. At Discovery Cove, you don’t have to worry about this because wetsuits are included with your ticket. When you arrive at the park, head over to the wetsuit stand where a member of the Discovery Cove team will help you choose the correct size.
You’ll also be given a snorkel, which you’ll need if you want to explore the Grand Reef. This incredible area is home to thousands of tropical fish, so make sure you check it out. Your snorkel is a Discovery Cove souvenir, so when you’re finished for the day, you can take it home with you.
4. Sun Cream
When you visit Discovery Cove, you can pack light, as you won’t need to bring any sun cream with you. When you arrive at the park, you’ll notice that there are huge sun cream dispensers where you can get ‘animal friendly sun cream’. At Discovery Cove it’s important to use this sun cream as it is specially formulated to be safe for use in the animal habitats. We’re sure you’ll be getting up close to some of the residents of Discovery Cove during your visit and you’ll want to make sure you do so safely. That’s why it’s important to wear the right sun cream so that the animals stay safe.
5. Towels & Toiletries
You won’t need to worry about bringing a beach towel with you as all towels are provided at Discovery Cove. Plus, unlike at most water parks, you won’t have to pay a deposit for the towels either. You can pick up towels when you arrive and can change them throughout the day if you need too. You’ll find lots of towels available in the changing rooms, so if you want to take a shower you can grab a clean towel on the way. There’s also a selection of toiletries that you can use for free, including shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
If you’re visiting Orlando and have hired a car, you might find that the cost of parking can add up quite quickly. On average, parking for the day can cost around $20-$25 at the main Orlando theme parks, so you can see how this could add up over the duration of your holiday. The good news is, that at Discovery Cove parking is free!
