SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment group are taking entertainment to new heights at its Orlando waterpark Aquatica, with the arrival of the tallest water thrill ride of its kind in Orlando - due to arrive in 2014! SeaWorld has caused a lot of excitement and speculation amongst theme park enthusiasts by releasing a height- test balloon over Aquatica in preparation for the new water ride; 'This type of balloon is commonly used by theme parks to check sight lines for new attractions,' SeaWorld confirmed. The height test balloon floated at a fearsome 105 feet off the ground and was conveniently tagged with a '105ft' label for enthusiastic eyes on the watch in Orlando to see.
SeaWorld have not yet revealed the full details of this new brand new attraction coming to Aquatica, but they have been very keen to get a buzz started around Orlando and put it out there that something very tall is arriving at Aquatica! Twitterati would no doubt have seen the #NothingTaller hashtags appearing in Twitter conversations! Summit Plummet at Disney World's Blizzard Beach is currently the tallest big thrill water ride of its kind in the US, so it is going to be very exciting to see how Aquatica's new water ride differs from Summit Plummet and interesting to know what they have done to make it qualify as 'the tallest ride of its kind'!
