Have you ever wanted to vacation like a LEGO Pirate? Well soon you will able to, when the North America’s very first LEGO Pirate-themed opens in LEGOLAND® Florida Resort.
Opening in the resort on April 17, 2020, the newest on-site accommodation will be placed just a few steps from the entrance to the LEGOLAND Park. And, to celebrate ‘International Talk Like a Pirate Day’ on September 19, the resort has released this exclusive behind-the-scenes video, which offers a peek inside this unique hotel:
The LEGOLAND Pirate Island Hotel is the resort’s third accommodation, and will house 150 rooms, including four suites. Much like the other hotel rooms across the park, the rooms will be split into two - a kids area and an adults area. The adult side of the room features a king bed and television, while the separate area for kids will have a bunk bed, LEGO play areas, and their very own TV so they can watch all of their favourite LEGO movies! The rooms are appropriately decorated in pirate-themed decor, making the experience immersive and unique. There’s also interactive LEGO Pirate models to enjoy, too.
Aside from the rooms, there is also a pool deck and heated pool, which comes complete with LEGO soft bricks, so kids (and adults!) can build in the pool. Eating-wise, the pirate-themed Shipwreck Restaurant is where all your food options can be found, and is also where your complimentary breakfast will be served. For adults, the Smuggler’s Bar is where you will be able to relax and unwind, away from the kids.
There’s also an entertainment area, with kid-friendly nightly programming and LEGO play areas. If you want something to post on your Instagram, there’s a pirate ship wreckage directly outside the entrance of the hotel - perfect for those family snaps.
The LEGO Movie World
The LEGO Movie World is now open at LEGOLAND Florida earlier this year, which is another great reason to add LEGOLAND Florida to your next Orlando holiday. The newest park expansion is inspired by the characters and themes of the The LEGO Movie and The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. There’s three new rides to enjoy, as well numerous attractions.
