SeaWorld’s Seven Seas Food Festival is returning to the park and there’s not long to wait, as it will officially launch later this month! If you’re not familiar with the festival, the name can give you a pretty good idea of what it’s all about. Inviting you to ‘set sail on a taste adventure’ the festival lets you sample flavoursome street food from all around the world. But that’s not all, there’s live music and plenty of craft beer to try too!
The Seven Seas Food Festival debuted at the park last year and was such a hit with guests that it’s returning for a second celebration. Kicking off on 17th February, the special event will run every weekend until 15th April, giving you plenty of time to check it out. If you consider yourself a bit of a foodie, you’re going to absolutely LOVE it. What’s even better, is that all the fantastic festival events are included free with your SeaWorld tickets.
This year, Chef Héctor Colón and his team have created an exciting menu of unique eats and beverages from across the globe. You’ll be able to try delicious Asian, Latin, European, Polynesian and North Atlantic cuisine at pop-up ‘markets’ located throughout the park. Like all of the food at SeaWorld, the menu will reflect the park’s commitment to sustainable foods and farming. This means that the dishes will be made with fresh, organic ingredients, free range eggs, regional produce and sustainable seafood.
So, what’s actually on the menu? Well, you can expect mouth-watering dishes like Peking Duck Lo Mein, Brazilian Churrasco and Cinnamon Slow Roasted Pork Belly to name just a few. Make sure you save some room for dessert, as there are plenty of tasty treats to choose from. The Chocolate Dipped Footlong Pretzel, Banana Foster Cheesecake Cones and Bingsu Salted Vanilla Ice Cream with Caramel Popcorn are definitely on our must-try list!
Two brand new culinary markets will be joining the line-up this year. The new German market will offer Wiener Shnitzel Sliders and Pretzel Wrapped Bratwurst with Beer Cheese Fondue, while the new All-American market will be serving up Nathan’s famous hot dogs. Need something to quench your thirst? With a total of 70 beers and 50 wines, you’ll have plenty to choose from!
There’s much more to the festival than good food though. There will also be a series of live concerts held at SeaWorld Orlando’s Bayside Stadium. The full artist line-up hasn’t been announced just yet, but the Jacksons, Bachman & Turner and Chris Young have already been confirmed to perform.
