4 New Haunted Houses Revealed for Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights
The Festival of the Deadliest is coming!
Universal have revealed more horrors for the scariest event of the year…

Universal’s famous Halloween Horror Nights spectacular is fast approaching, starting on 15th September and running through to 4th November. That means there’s not long to go before a swarm of “mutants, monsters and maniacs” start prowling the Universal Studios Florida park! Halloween Horror Nights is considered the world’s premier Halloween event, and if you like all things spooky, you won’t be disappointed.

Haunted Houses are one of the scariest parts of the event, because they bring some of the most terrifying horror movies of all time to life, right before your eyes! You’ll be able to relive iconic scenes, as you make your way through each house, but be sure to look out for some familiar faces lurking in the darkness. This year, houses themed on classics like The Shining, The Purge, Insidious, Ash vs Evil Dead and American Horror Story, are just a few of the stories you’ll be able to discover. If that wasn’t scary enough, Universal have just added four original houses to the terrifying line-up.

The original houses have been conjured up by Universal’s creative team, which means you won’t have a clue what to expect. We’ve got a few details of what’s in store, so you can prepare yourself for the horrors that await…

Scarecrow: The Reaping

This frightening house is set inside an abandoned farmhouse in Nebraska. Many years ago, the lush fields were savaged by the farmers’ ploughs, causing anger and uproar to spread throughout the land. Scarecrow guardians have risen from the blood-stained soil, looking for revenge, and they’re going to get it at any cost! Universal have issued a warning that “the harvest that will be reaped this season is you”!

The Fallen

Prepare to be caught in the crossfire of an ancient battle between good and evil! The Fallen are flying, jumping and crawling up from the kingdom of darkness, and are ready to destroy anyone and anything that gets in their way. Make sure you keep a look out, because there are plenty of surprises in store.

Dead Waters

In the past, some of the most popular haunted houses have gone on to become scare zones. Scare zones are terrifying areas, where live actors and characters from your favourite horror movies, roam the streets freely. The zones are located throughout the park, making them completely unavoidable- another reason why they’re so scary! Never before, has a scare zone inspired a haunted house... until now.

The new Dead Waters haunted house has been inspired by the Bayou of Blood scare zone that was introduced at Halloween Horror Nights 24. Get ready to explore the Dead Waters of the Voodoo Queen as you become immersed into her “hellish realm”. There’s a half sunken riverboat and a mass of skeletal remains from her unfortunate victims too.

Hive:

Hive will take you back in time to a 1980s-style horror movie. Experience the wrath of a group of “nasty’ animalistic and vicious” vampires that are on the loose. All of your worst nightmares are about to come true as you come face to face with the evil creatures.

“The chilling celebration of blood and bone is about to begin”, but the question is, are you ready for it?
