When it comes to Halloween Horror Nights, the motto is “it’s never too soon to start panicking”! While Halloween might still seem like some time away, Universal have just revealed the dates for this year’s spook-tacular, giving us the go ahead to start getting excited about it! There haven’t been too many details announced just yet, but one thing we know for sure is that this year’s event will be bigger (and scarier!) than ever before, and will run for a record-breaking 34 nights from 15th September-4th November.
Halloween Horror Nights is one of the most popular events of the year by far, and this year’s scare-fest will mark the 27th annual Halloween celebration hosted at Universal Studios Florida. Look out for “hordes of horrifying mutants, monsters and maniacs” roaming the park, and be prepared for some terrifying surprises when you least expect it! Universal have already promised that there will be some brand new content this year, that will leave you “panic-stricken”.
If you don’t know much about Halloween Horror Nights, the annual event is scarier than you could possibly imagine. Don’t worry though, it’s the kind of scary feeling that makes you want to go back again and again! Watch some of the most iconic horror movies of all time come to life before your eyes, as you become immersed into the stories in a series of horrifying haunted houses. Last year’s line-up featured haunted houses themed on Krampus, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist, American Horror Story and The Walking Dead. Venture into the unknown if you dare!
There will also be multiple scare zones throughout the park with “scareactors” waiting to jump out at you. These will make your nightmares a reality, as you’re pulled into the stories you’ve seen on screen, with nowhere to escape. You can end the night by watching one of the live shows, and while these haven’t been announced yet, we’re hoping that Bill and Ted will return to perform their famous and hilarious show that includes a round-up of the year’s most newsworthy events. That’s not all though, you’ll even get the chance to ride some of your favourite attractions in the dark, making the experience even more thrilling.
