Universal have just confirmed that an exciting new show will soon be launching at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The night-time spectacular will be called ‘The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle’ and will be a celebration of the famous houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The show will take place on the front of the iconic castle, with state of the art projection mapping technology illuminating the façade.
The crests and colours of the four houses- Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, will be projected onto the castle in a stunning display that sees each house “showcasing its pride in its own unique way’. As well as the striking red, green, blue and yellow lights, we’re expecting to see the animals which represent each house too, including a lion, snake, eagle and a badger. As the lights dance across the castle, music based on the original scores from the movies will echo across the park.

The show will debut at the end of this month (31st January) and is scheduled to run on 5th February and 7th-12 February. So, if you’re visiting during this time, you’ll be one of the first to see it. Don’t worry though, Universal have confirmed that additional dates will be announced soon. Head over to the village of Hogsmeade at Universal’s Islands of Adventure early to make sure you get a good viewing spot.
