Horrors of Blumhouse Announced For Halloween Horror Nights
Horrors of Blumhouse returns!
Universal have just confirmed that an old favourite will be making a return to Halloween Horror Nights 2018…

It’s almost time for the Halloween celebrations to begin and at Universal Studios Florida, preparations for Halloween Horror Nights 2018 are well underway! If you’re not too familiar with the event, Halloween Horror Nights is one of the biggest (and scariest!) Halloween events in the whole world, and this year, it’s going to be bigger than ever before.

Universal have just announced that an old favourite will be joining the already terrifying line-up for this year’s event. Fan favourite ‘The Horrors of Blumhouse’ will return in an all-new haunted house. This time, it will feature iconic moments from hit films ‘Happy Death Day’ and ‘The First Purge’. Think you’re brave enough to venture inside? Check out the video below for a preview of what awaits…

Blumhouse Productions is famous for creating some of the most terrifying horror movies ever, including Paranormal Activity, Sinister, The Gift, Insidious and of course The Purge and Happy Death Day. This haunted house will feature moments from two of their scariest movies, bringing the stories together and immersing you into the action.

First, you’ll witness a college student trying to break the murderous cycle of Happy Death Day. You better be careful as you make your way through the house, as you never know where her killer may be. Prepare for a dramatic showdown as you fight for survival against the unknown killer who hides behind the mask of the college mascot!

As if that wasn’t traumatic enough, you’ll then find yourself right in the middle of The First Purge. This is where you’ll find out exactly how it came about, that for one night only, all crime is made legal. When the dreaded sound of the siren echoes through the house, you’ll know that it’s time to run… the only problem is, there’s no way out!

This year, Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights will be the biggest yet, with a total of 10 haunted houses. Universal have already confirmed that hit Netflix series Stranger Things, will be making its Halloween Horror Nights debut, so if you’re a fan, make sure you check it out. As well as a host of Universal original storylines, there will also be haunted houses inspired by popular horror movies like Poltergeist, Trick ‘R Treat and Halloween 4.

Of course, that’s not all. There will also be a series of scare zones located throughout the park. These are the places where monsters, mutants and maniacs roam free, searching for unsuspecting guests! This year’s event starts on 14th September and will take place on select nights until 3rd November.
