Universal’s Aventura Hotel is set to open on 1st August, offering those with Universal theme park tickets an affordable and convenient place to stay. Not only is the hotel just a few minutes’ walk from Universal’s amazing theme parks, it also has lots of fantastic benefits like early theme park admission, so you can be the first to get on those incredible rides. Universal have described the hotel as “affordable chic” revealing that there will be a poolside hot tub, rooftop bar and modern rooms that have tablets, floor to ceiling windows and some even have views of the 200-foot-tall Krakatau Volcano at the nearby Volcano Bay water park.
But, that’s not all. When Universal first confirmed plans for the Aventura Hotel, they revealed that there would be a large food hall. Now they’ve shared more details and pictures of the mouth-watering food that will be on the menu. The food hall will be called Urban Pantry and will have several different stations serving up delicious meals for guests. Universal have promised “diverse flavours, fresh ingredients and globally inspired dishes”. So, want to see what’s on the menu?
The Pizza Station
Here, you’ll be able to watch chefs create delicious pizzas right before your eyes. Choose from gourmet toppings like prosciutto and smoked salmon, then watch as your pizza is made in a stone oven. Make sure you save some room for dessert as there’s a gelato sandwich filled with hazelnut chocolate on the menu!
The Wok Station
If you want a healthy but hearty meal, this is the place for you. Create your own unique dish, by first deciding whether you’d like it served ramen-style or as a stir fry. Then, choose which protein you’d like (steak, chicken, shrimp or tofu) and finally, choose a selection of fresh vegetables to go on top. If you just fancy a light bite, you can also try appetisers like dumplings, crab spring rolls and sushi.
The Roast Station
We’re already predicting that this is going to be one of our favourites! At this food station you’ll be able to get succulent ribs, tender chicken, mouth-watering cuts of lamb and fresh salmon to name just a few. Pair your dish with a side of potatoes, couscous, quinoa, spinach or seasonal vegetables.
The Burger Station
Whether it’s a juicy Black Angus beef burger, a tasty turkey burger or a fresh vegetarian burger, this is a place that’s definitely worth a visit. There’s lots of delicious toppings to choose from, like aged gouda, bacon, fig jam and roasted mushrooms.
Want to quench your thirst? Each food station will be serving “perfectly paired” drinks that are themed to the cuisine. For example, at the Wok Station, you’ll be able to try authentic Asian Beer and sake.
The Urban Pantry will be the perfect place to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as the menu is filled with great dishes that are suitable for any time of day.
