Halloween Horror Nights fans and horror movie enthusiasts should be very familiar with the terrifying serial killer Michael Myers. If you haven’t heard of him before, you’re going to wish you never had, after coming face to face with him at this year’s Halloween spectacular. That’s right, Universal have just confirmed that there will be a haunted house called Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights and you guessed it, Michael will be there to terrorise guests!
This creepy haunted house is inspired by the fourth instalment of the ‘Halloween’ movie series and if you haven’t seen it, this is the movie where Michael Myers makes a dramatic return. Myers has been in a comatose state for 10 years but while he’s being transferred to another facility he surprisingly wakes up, overhearing the news that he has a 7-year-old niece. Desperate for vengeance, he kills the driver onboard and escapes, returning to the town of Haddonfield, determined to track her down and kill her too.
No one is safe as Michael will destroy anyone who gets in his way. Unfortunately, in this haunted house, that might just be you! Universal have warned that “you’ll be dropped right in the middle of Michael Myers’ path”. You’ll have to be brave if you want to escape the bloodbath! Check out the video below for a preview...
While there are still more Halloween Horror Nights announcements to be made, Universal have already revealed several terrifying haunted houses for this year’s line-up. It’s been confirmed that there will be a mixture of houses inspired by classic horror movies like Poltergeist and Trick ‘r Treat, as well as Universal original houses and for the first time ever, a house themed on hit Netflix series Stranger Things.
