Universal have announced the final haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 2018, completing the biggest (and scariest!) line-up ever. The latest house to be revealed is another Universal original called ScaryTales: Deadly Ever After. This haunted maze will transform the fairy tales you know and love into terrifying alternate versions, where there are definitely no happy endings!
The Universal team revealed that guests will be thrown into a cursed realm, where they will come face to face with a whole host of horrors. Check out the video below for a preview…
This new haunted house is ruled by the Wicked Witch of the West, who has seized control of the fairy-tale world. She spends her time tormenting beloved storybook characters in cruel new storylines that are totally different from the originals you grew up with.
There are nightmares lurking around every corner, and you’ll have to be extremely brave to even venture inside. Trust us when we say that this isn’t for the faint-hearted! Construction for ScaryTales: Deadly Ever After is already underway, and with parts of it nicknamed revenge, toupee and splatter, you can expect some pretty gruesome scenes.
Universal have warned that “the witches spell spares no one”, so we’re pretty sure there aren’t going to be any happy endings in here! Rows of creepy banners lead you to your “deadly ever after” but the question is, have you got what it takes to make it out?
Of course, that’s not all. There will be 10 haunted houses in total, with some Universal originals like this one, and others inspired by classic horror movies. You’ll be able to explore mazes themed on Poltergeist, Halloween 4 and Trick ‘R Treat. There will also be a series of scare zones located through the park, where live actors will roam free terrorising guests.
