Universal recently confirmed the theme of a second haunted house that’s set to appear at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights. It’s a Universal original and an old favourite that will be making a comeback with a terrifying new storyline. Have you guessed it yet? The latest haunted house to be added to the line-up is Dead Exposure: Patient Zero!
If you haven’t heard of Dead Exposure before, this was an original haunted house that made its Halloween Horror Nights debut in 2008. The ideas and theming were conjured up by the Universal creative team, offering a thrilling and totally unique story. Guests had to step through a photograph to get inside, where they were plunged into complete darkness. With every flash of the camera, the room would be illuminated, revealing hordes of horrifying zombies!
This year, Dead Exposure is back, with something brand new. If you’re brave enough to enter this terrifying haunted house, you’ll be taken back in time to Paris in 1982. The city has gone dark and chaos has broken out. Hordes of vicious, flesh-eating undead are swarming the streets and there’s nowhere to hide. The military is forcing those unaffected into quarantine and a vaccination is being given, but there’s one major side effect- blindness!
An attack could come from anywhere at any moment and Universal have warned guests to understand one thing- “they will find you”!
Dead Exposure: Patient Zero is the second haunted house to be announced for this year’s event. Universal made their first exciting announcement earlier this month, confirming rumours that a new haunted house inspired by popular Netflix series Stranger Things would be coming to the park! There are still several announcements to be made, so make sure you keep checking our blog to find out all the latest news.
