Second Haunted House Confirmed for Halloween Horror Nights
Original haunted house revealed!
Universal have announced the second haunted house to join the creepy line-up for Halloween Horror Nights 2019…

Last month, Universal shared some exciting details for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights fright-fest. They revealed that the first haunted house would see a fan-favourite from last year return with a brand new storyline. This house will of course be inspired by the popular Netflix programme Stranger Things, but this time it will bring to life the stories and characters from series 2 and series 3.

If you’ve been eager to find out more about Halloween Horror Nights 2019, you’ll be pleased to hear that the second haunted house has now been confirmed, and it’s a Universal original! This means that the horrors that await inside this house will never have been seen before.

The new house will be called ‘Nightingales: Blood Pit’ and if you’re a big fan of Halloween Horror Nights, you might already be familiar with the evil Nightingales. These horrible creatures made their first appearance at Halloween Horror Nights back in 2011 and are known for preying on the weak. This time, it will be no different!

This unique story is set in Ancient Rome, when the city is suffering from the worst drought in centuries. The ruthless Emperor has declared that the gladiatorial games will continue nonstop for as long as it takes for the rain to return. The gory bloodshed of the games might seem bad enough, but its about to get a whole lot worse when the creatures appear.

The Nightingales feed on the dead and dying, and with so much bloodshed from the games, they will be out in full force. These evil creatures have been around since the beginning of time, but they’ve never been as bad as this. You’ll have to struggle to survive alongside the gladiators, as the ravenous Nightingales tear into their victims.

As well as this new haunted house and a Stranger Things house, there will be eight more houses which remain to be announced, as well as five scare zones and live entertainment.

Halloween Horror Nights 2019 will run on select nights between 6th September- 2nd November.
