Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure has been featured at Halloween Horror Nights for the past 26 years, but Universal have just announced that this year will be the duo’s last ever HHN performance.
If you’ve been to Halloween Horror Nights before, you’ll know that Bill and Ted’s show is one of the highlights. But, if you haven’t heard of it, the show centres around the two title characters from the 1989 movie ‘Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ which starred Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves. It’s a comedic performance that imitates celebrities like Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian and Barack Obama, and always has the audience in stitches.
The long-running show is wacky, unpredictable and not for the easily offended, as you never know what will happen next. This year’s final performance will be called ‘The Farewell Tour’ so if you haven’t seen it yet, now’s your chance. Jason Horne, who has been writing for the show for the past 7 years, said “It’s relevant. It’s ridiculous. It’s irreverent. It’s edgy. And at the end of the day… it’s just a good time.”
Halloween Horror Nights is running on select nights between 15th September- 4th November, so make sure you don’t miss out! A series of terrifying haunted houses themed on The Shining, American Horror Story and Ash vs Evil Dead have already been confirmed and it’s only a matter of time before Universal reveal more frightening horror stories.
