Universal Orlando have released a brand new update for Skull Island: The Reign of Kong! There will be a mass of terrifying creatures that await, as you embark upon your expedition. Lurking deep within the jungle, it’s not just Kong out there! Get ready for an adventure into the unknown and prepare to face your fears on this exhilarating ride.
Universal have teased us with 5 ‘unimaginable creatures’ to give us an idea of the horrors we can expect:
The largest and by far the scariest predator on Skull Island. Fiercely territorial, they don’t take well to intruders coming into their habitat. Known for its bursts of high speed, it can change directions quickly making it the perfect hunter. Be careful of the razor sharp teeth designed to viciously tear into its prey.
With a wingspan of up to 10-feet the Terapusmordax is the largest flying predator on the Island. They reside in colonies deep within dark caverns. Easily provoked, it’s best not to disturb them as they have a habit of spearing victims with their deadly talons and huge fangs.
This creepy insect has savagely sharp mandibles and two-bladed forearms, designed to destroy its prey in seconds. This aggressive beast is one of the largest cave-dwelling creatures that calls Skull Island home.
This gruesome slug-like creature appears even more creepy thanks to its lack of eyes and facial features. It does however have a long gaping mouth edged with sharp pointy teeth. It slowly feasts on injured and dead explorers left behind on the Island.
This lethal predator is always on the hunt for its prey. Moving swiftly across the Island, it searches for injured creatures to feast upon. The huge six-legged arachnid brutally crushes its prey before enjoying the remains.
If these creatures weren’t scary enough, there’s bound to be even more deadly predators hiding on the Island. Are you brave enough to face Skull Island: Reign of Kong?
