The International Food and Wine Festival is one of Epcot’s most popular events, always drawing in big crowds. This year, the festival will be running for a total of 75 days, giving you plenty of time to join in the fun. The 2018 International Food and Wine Festival will run from 30th August-12th November and will be celebrating its 23rd year at the park!
As the name suggests, Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival is all about great tasting food and fine wine. But, for those of you who aren’t familiar with the festival, there’s lots more to enjoy too. There’s a whole host of appearances from top celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations, seminars and even live music.
As you make your way around the World Showcase, you’ll find a range of international food kiosks, offering mouth-watering dishes from all over the world. The menu hasn’t been announced yet, but at last year’s festival Boeuf Bourguignon, Teriyaki Ginger Pork and Charcuterie in a Cone, were just a few of the tasty dishes on offer. As well as the wine, you can also enjoy lots of refreshing cocktails like a Lime Margarita (Mexico pavilion), Kung Fu Punch (China pavilion) and Le Passion Martini Slush (France pavilion).
Once you’ve enjoyed some of the amazing food, make sure you head over to the American Gardens Theatre where the popular Eat to the Beat concert series will take place. A host of world-famous artists will perform some of their greatest hits live on stage and admission to the concert is completely free with your Walt Disney World tickets! Last year Hanson, Sugar Ray, Billy Ocean, Tiffany and Boyz II Men all performed and even though the line-up for this year hasn’t been announced yet, we’re expecting some big names.
