Make sure you bring your camera, as we’re sure you’ll want to take plenty of pictures. At Christmas, the park becomes even more magical than usual, thanks to a dazzling festive makeover. As you walk down Main Street USA admire the enormous, sparkling Christmas tree, as the smell of candy canes fills the air. You might even see a sprinkling of snow!

It’s worth spending some time exploring the park to see all the decorations, as they really are impressive. There’s colourful baubles, toy soldiers and traditional Christmas wreaths to name a few. Although the highlight has to be the castle, illuminated by hundreds of thousands of dazzling ‘icicle’ lights.

Rides:
Another great thing about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, is you’ll be able to enjoy the park’s top attractions without the queues! The exclusive event is for a limited number of people only, which means you won’t have to wait long at all to get on your favourite attractions, plus you’ll be able to enjoy the thrill of riding them in the dark! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, It’s a Small World, Mad Tea Party, Pirates of the Caribbean and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are just a few of the amazing attractions expected to remain open.

Characters:

At Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you’ll get the chance to meet characters that you wouldn’t usually see at the parks. This year, there will be more than 15 famous Disney characters that you can meet, so make sure you bring along your autograph book. It’s also a great chance to take some photos as the characters will all be dressed for the occasion in their finest Christmas attire. Look out for the likes of Jack Skellington (as Sandy Claws), Scrooge McDuck and even Santa Claus!

One of the best ways to make sure you see all your favourite characters is at Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Get a good viewing spot before the show begins and you’ll be able to wave to all the characters as they make their way along Main Street USA on colourful floats. You’ll see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Anna, Elsa and Olaf to name just a few, and there will be dancing elves and festive gingerbread men leading the way.

Frozen Fun:

This stunning show takes place on the Castle Forecourt Stage and as you can probably guess by the name- it features all your favourite Frozen characters! Anna and Elsa lead the show, with special appearances from Kristoff and the adorable Olaf. Watch in awe as a stunning light show is projected onto the castle façade, while the sound of ‘Let it Go’ echoes through the park. Prepare to be amazed when Queen Elsa transforms the castle into a breath-taking ice palace with 200,000 glittering lights!

This fun filled show is the perfect way to end your magical night. There’s music, dancing and plenty of familiar faces. Mickey has invited all of his pals along for the celebration and what’s even better is that you’re invited too! Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto will all be there dressed in their Christmas best. Peter Pan, Snow White, Woody & Jessie, Alice and the White Rabbit and Pinocchio will also be stopping by to celebrate.
