On June 10th a brand new ride called Mako opened at SeaWorld and instantly made it onto our most thrilling rides list. With speeds of up to 73mph and heights of 200-feet, this record-breaking new hyper coaster became the tallest, fastest and longest ride in all of Orlando! If you’re a real thrill-seeker, this is definitely one you won’t want to miss. Themed on the fastest species of shark in the world, this coaster aims to replicate the movements of a real Mako shark in the wild, racing through the ocean hunting for its prey. What makes this coaster even more exhilarating, is that there are no shoulder restraints- just lap guards, offering riders maximum airtime and an unrivalled weightless feeling.

One of the most daunting rides in Orlando, this will challenge even the ultimate thrill seeker! Slowly ascend 200-feet into the air, before teetering on the edge of a petrifying 90-degree drop! Loop around the track, hurtle through a dark underground tunnel and prepare for a big splash in the grand finale!

The Incredible Hulk Coaster:
One of Orlando’s most popular rollercoasters has recently undergone an “incredible” makeover, transforming it into something more terrifying than ever before! There’s a brand new story, shiny new ride vehicles, a new fascinating queue experience and a new entrance guarded by the enormous Hulk himself. The enhanced coaster includes two vertical loops, two corkscrews and seven inversions, as well as reaching astonishing speeds of up to 67mph. If that wasn’t enough to get your heart racing, a new soundtrack created by Fall Out Boy front man Patrick Stump is sure to do it. Make sure you don’t leave Orlando without trying this ride!

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror:
Get ready to step inside the eerie Hollywood Tower Hotel and discover the mysteries that lie within. As the legend goes, back in 1939, five unlucky guests disappeared forever from the elevator when lightning unexpectedly hit the hotel. Ever since that fateful night, the hotel is rumoured to be haunted with souls of the past who relish in terrorising any guests that walk through the doors. Enter the rickety lift as the lights go out and you’re left in total darkness! Shoot upwards and plunge back down over and over again with no warning, as the lift doors suddenly fly open at 13-storeys high exposing the spooky hotel grounds. Will you ever make it out?

The evil Mummy has finally awoken from his centuries-long slumber and is out for revenge. Swarms of scarab beetles scurry past, as blazing fireballs illuminate the eerie tombs revealing an army of warrior mummies! Be warned, Imhotep is out to get your soul! Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit:
This unique ride lets you choose the adrenaline inducing soundtrack that plays as you ascend 17-storeys above the park. With a mixture of hits like “Born to be Wild” (Hinder), “I Will Survive” (Gloria Gaynor), and “Rock Star” (N.E.R.D.), there’s something for everyone’s taste. Race around 1,200-metres of winding track, reaching speeds of up to 65mph on the tallest ride at Universal Studios Florida. Want to see your reaction when you reach the big drops? Each rider’s individual experience is filmed, so you can see your “ride face”, and you can even get it turned into a personalised music video!
