If you didn’t already know, something exciting is coming soon to Disney’s Animal Kingdom- a brand new land called Pandora- The World of Avatar! If you’re a fan of the smash hit movie, you won’t have long to wait, as Disney have just revealed that it will officially be open to the public from next summer. If you can’t wait that long, check out the latest pictures for a sneak peek at what you can expect…

 

Pandora- The World of Avatar Walt Disney World

 

There are already signs that the new land is on its way, with the breath-taking floating mountains already visible in the park. An entry bridge has also been uncovered, which will lead guests into the incredible world of Pandora. Get ready for a fully immersive experience like no other, where you can explore a night-time jungle, meet Na’vi shaman and even fly alongside banshees!

 

Satu'li Canteen Pandora- The World of Avatar Walt Disney World

 

The Satu’li Canteen will be the main restaurant in Pandora and will be the place to go to refuel after all that exploring. Make sure you check out the vibrant Na’vi artwork and cultural items on display. We’re hoping there will be some quirky Avatar-themed food and drink to try too!

 

Pongu Pongu Pandora The World of Avatar Walt Disney World

 

For something to drink head to the picture-perfect Pongu Pongu, a special drinking location that’s eye-catching, colourful and totally unique. 

 

Windtraders Pandora The World of Avatar Walt Disney World

 

If you want to take something home with you to remember your trip, Windtraders will be the perfect place to pick up some souvenirs. Inside the shop, you’ll be able to find special Na’vi cultural items and artefacts, as well as toys, science kits and plenty more.

 

Na'vi River Journey Pandora - The World of Avatar Walt Disney World

 

When it comes to rides, the new land is set to have two star attractions. Na’vi River Journey will take you on a tranquil journey through a bioluminescent rainforest. Glide along the sacred river in a canoe, and admire the glowing plants and mysterious creatures you pass along the way. You’ll even get the chance to meet a Na’vi shaman who sends positive energy out into the atmosphere through her gift of music.

 

Flight of Passage Pandora - The World of Avatar Walt Disney World

 

For something a bit more adventurous, set your adrenaline levels soaring (literally!) on Flight of Passage, as you take to the skies and fly with banshees! Of course, there will be more than just two attractions, and we're sure it won't be long before Disney reveal even more secrets.
