New Restaurant Confirmed for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
New Star Wars restaurant coming soon!
A totally unique restaurant is set to open at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and it’s going to be a must visit…

Star Wars fans are eagerly awaiting the opening of Disney’s Star Wars-inspired land, and while there’s still some time to wait, Disney are keeping us excited with frequent news updates. In fact, it’s just been revealed that there will be a restaurant called ‘Oga’s Cantina’ offering unique food and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Here’s what you need to know…

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to become Disney’s largest ever single-themed expansion, spanning over 14 acres. It will be opening late 2019 at Disney's Hollywood Studios park at Walt Disney World. Black Spire Outpost is the largest settlement on planet Batuu (the heart of this new Star Wars Land), attracting traders, adventurers and smugglers alike. This is the place where you’ll find Oga’s Cantina and you can expect to come face to face with some of these quirky characters during your visit. Disney have revealed that this notorious dining outlet will be serving pilots, bounty hunters, smugglers, locals and even those wanting to “conduct shady business”!

This unusual place is run by an Alien proprietor called Oga Garra. Be warned, Oga upholds a strict code of conduct at all times to keep the unruly guests under control. Although, with a long history of being a safe-heaven for those trying to escape the authorities, you’re sure to see some strange goings on. Keep a look out for the stormtroopers, as they’re known to turn up unexpectedly!

The menu hasn’t been revealed just yet, but Disney have confirmed that the dishes will be made with exotic ingredients, using “otherworldly methods” served in unique vessels. You’ll also be able to try the famous Blue Milk that you saw Luke Skywalker drinking in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. We can’t wait to see what else is on the menu.

Music will be provided from the cantina’s very own DJ, RX-24. You might even recognise him from the popular Star Tours attraction. The former StarSpeeder 3000 pilot droid, will be as talkative as ever, so make sure you go over for a chat.
