If you’ll be in Orlando for St Patrick’s Day, these are the best places to celebrate…

St Patrick’s Day is celebrated in a big way in Orlando, and if you’re visiting on the big day, there’s plenty of fun to be had. From Irish dancers to green Guinness, here are the best bars to find the craic…

1. Raglan Road

Raglan Road Disney Springs

Raglan Road is famous for its lively St Patrick’s Day parties, so if you’re looking for a fun night out, this is the place to come. You can’t get more authentically Irish than Raglan Road- the bar that was “built entirely in Ireland, and shipped lock, stock and beer barrel to Disney Springs”! The annual ‘Mighty St Patrick’s Festival’ kicks off on 16th March, with a full line-up of incredible entertainment including a troupe of Irish dancers. There’ll be craft beer on tap, as well as a selection of spirits and refreshing cocktails. Want to try some hearty Irish food? There’s bacon and cabbage, fish and chips and shepherd’s pie on the menu. So, make sure you’re dressed in green and embrace the free face painting on offer at Raglan Road.

2. Rose & Crown Pub

Rose and Crown Epcot Orlando

While the Rose & Crown may be themed on a traditional English pub, on St Patrick’s Day, it’s of course all about Ireland! Our favourite thing to enjoy here is a pint of GREEN Guinness! If you’re visiting Disney’s Epcot park on the big day, it’s definitely worth a try. You can also get green cider, but be warned, the lines at the outdoor beer tap can get pretty long as everyone wants to give it a try. Feeling hungry, the main dish on St Patrick's Day is corned beef and cabbage and you can also get a mouth-watering serving of fish and chips.

3. Pat O’Brien’s

Pat O'Brien's Universal CityWalk Orlando

Each night Pat O’Brien’s comes to life with a duelling piano session as the entertainers perform a host of classic sing-along hits requested by the audience. On St Patrick’s Day, the atmosphere is even more buzzing than usual, with a live performance from Celtic rock band ‘Off Kilter’. Offering great music and tasty Irish food, this is the perfect place to visit if you want to join in the celebrations. Get ready to party the night away, as the fun doesn’t stop until 2am!
