Add some extra magic to your holiday
A Disney band is included with all of our 2023 Disney Magic Tickets and Disney Combo Tickets, but what can you use it for?

Once you have your Walt Disney World Resort in Florida tickets, have linked them to your My Disney Experience account and made your Disney Park Pass Reservations^, you’re ready to head into the parks for a holiday full of magic and thrills. But there’s one thing that can make your trip even easier; a Disney band.

Every 2023 Disney Magic Ticket and Disney Combo Ticket purchased from AttractionTickets.com includes a Disney band worth $19.99 per person. When you arrive in Orlando, all you have to do is head to Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs to exchange your voucher for a Disney band, link it to your My Disney Experience account, and then you’re good to go. (Top tip: you’ll get a $10 Planet Hollywood voucher and VIP Priority Seating with your booking too, so why not make an evening of it and stay for a meal?)

But once you have your Disney band, how can you use it to get the most out of your days at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park?

Access to the Disney Parks*

If both your Disney tickets and your Disney band are linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can use your Disney band to gain access to the Disney Theme Park and Water Parks. With the band on your wrist, all you have to do is tap and go - no need to take your phone or any physical tickets in and out of your pocket.

Genie+ and Lightning Lane Use

If you get a place in a virtual queue for attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise, purchase the Genie+ Service for the day, or an Individual Lightning Lane, you can use your Disney band to access the attraction. Just as you do when entering the Parks, touch the Mickey on your Disney band to the Mickey on the attraction’s touchpoint and wait for it to turn green.

Linking Photopass photos to your My Disney Experience account

One of the great things about Disney Magic Tickets is that Memory Maker is included; that means you can download all of your Photopass photos from My Disney Experience without any extra cost. When you have a Disney band, the Photopass photographers will scan this and before you know it, your photos will be on your account. For certain rides, your Disney band will even automatically locate you at the attraction and send you your ride picture without you needing to lift a finger.

Access to your Disney Resort hotel room

If you’re staying onsite at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel you can use your Disney band to unlock your hotel room by linking your reservation to your My Disney Experience account. Your Disney band can then also be used to access exclusive areas for hotel guests like certain pool and recreation areas.

An additional benefit for Disney Resort hotel guests is the ability to charge purchases to your room using your Disney band and a PIN code chosen when you check in.

Disney bands can be used again and again

One of the best things about Disney bands is that they are linked to your My Disney Experience account, not your individual Disney tickets. That means that the next time you visit Walt Disney World Resort in Florida (because we know you won’t be able to resist booking again!), your Disney band will be ready to use with your new tickets once they have been linked to your account.
