The Disney theme parks have the undeniable ability to give you that warm, fuzzy feeling every time you visit, but at Christmas, this is taken to a whole new level! The Christmas celebrations are now in full swing at Disneyland Paris and the parks have undergone a dazzling transformation, making them more magical than ever.
Disney’s Enchanted Christmas includes special character encounters, spectacular shows and even an appearance from Santa Claus! The celebrations will be running until 6th January, so there’s still plenty of time to get your Disneyland Paris tickets and join in the fun. All of the fantastic Disney’s Enchanted Christmas events are included with your theme park tickets, so you can experience the Christmas magic for yourself. Here are some of the highlights from this year's incredible celebration...
Disney’s Christmas Parade
This is one of our favourite Christmas events and if you’re visiting the parks over the festive season, make sure you don’t miss it. This incredible performs features a host of classic Disney characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Woody and Buzz Lightyear to name just a few. Arrive early to get the perfect viewing spot on Main Street USA and wave along to your favourites as they glide past on a series of elaborate, festive floats. Look out for dancing gingerbread men, sugar canes and other sweet surprises along the way.
Mickey’s Magical Christmas Light
This is the big moment- the moment when the park comes to life as Town Square’s giant Christmas tree is illuminated with thousands of glittering lights! Mickey and Minnie start the show by hosting a seasonal sing-along, with all of your favourite Christmas carols. When it’s time to light up the tree, Santa Claus joins the Disney duo for the mesmerising display.
NEW! Surprise for Mickey
This exciting show is brand new for Christmas 2018. Minnie Mouse has planned a very special Christmas surprise for Mickey as part of the World’s Biggest Mouse Party. The good news is, you’re invited to watch it all unfold! We don’t want to give anything away, so you’ll have to see it for yourself to find out what Minnie’s planning.
Goofy’s Incredible Christmas
This year, there’s plenty of festive fun to be had at both Disneyland Paris parks. Goofy’s Incredible Christmas will take place at the Walt Disney Studios Park after dark. Make your way over to the famous Tower of Terror Hotel and you’ll see it illuminated with character-filled Christmas tales, thanks to state-of-the-art projection technology.
Mickey’s Christmas Big Band
See Mickey like never before as he takes to the stage for an unforgettable performance. Head over to Animagique in the Walt Disney Studios Park for a mesmerising Broadway tap dancing show. The sound of Christmas carols rings through the air as Mickey takes control of the drums!
A Merry Stitchmas
Starting from 16th November, the lovable (but mischievous!) Stitch will take to the stage in this fun-filled show. The performance will take place right in the middle of the park on the Royal Castle Stage and Stich is in charge. He’ll be leading Mickey. Minnie, Donald and the rest of the gang in a festive show that’s promised to be “crammed with Christmas goodness”. We can’t wait to see it!
Christmas wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Santa Claus, and at Disneyland Paris you can meet him for yourself! You’ll also find Minnie Mouse in her festive attire, as well as Buzz Lightyear, Marie, Thumper and Miss Bunny. This is something you won’t want to miss, so have your camera at the ready.
Christmas at the Disney Village
This Christmas, the festive celebrations will extend to the Disney village. There will be plenty of entertainment as well as a traditional Christmas market for you to explore.
