5 Things You Must do at the Walt Disney Studios Park
Iconic rides, action-packed shows and much more!
Get ready to discover the movies and so much more at Walt Disney Studios Park. If you’re planning a visit, here’s 5 things you must do…

Disneyland Paris is made up of not just one, but two amazing parks. While Sleeping Beauty’ stunning castle may be the icon of Disneyland Paris, make sure you don’t overlook the Walt Disney Studios Park which is right next door. This is the place to go for adventurers and thrill seekers alike. So, once you’ve met Disney royalty and taken plenty of castle selfies, head next door and step straight into the action. To give you some inspiration for your visit, here’s 6 things you must do at the Walt Disney Studios Park…

1. Take the Studio Tram Tour

The Studio Tram Tour is an absolute must-do, so we’d recommend putting this at the top of your list. Film buffs will love the chance to go behind-the-scenes of the movies as you get a close-up look at full-scale movie sets and props. Although, the adventure really begins when you take a detour through Catastrophe Canyon. Like the name suggests, things don’t quite go to plan here! We don’t want to give too much away, but you can expect pouring rain, blazing fire and lots of surprises.

2. Meet your favourite characters

Ready to do some serious autograph hunting? Once you’ve met the Disney princesses at the Disneyland Park, make your way over to Walt Disney Studios Park to meet some Disney heroes. You’ll find the likes of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Buzz Lightyear and the Incredibles. For a limited time only (until 30th September 2018) you’ll also be able to meet Star Lord and Gamora from the Guardians of the Galaxy, who will be taking on guests in an epic dance off battle!

3. Experience Disney’s most iconic rides

The Disney parks are home to some of the most iconic rides in the world and a visit wouldn’t be complete until you’ve tried them yourself. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is one of Disney’s most famous rides, so this should definitely be on your list. Be warned though, this isn’t for the faint-hearted. To ride this attraction, you’ll have to step inside an abandoned (and allegedly haunted!) hotel, before being strapped into an old, rickety lift.

Get ready to ascend to the 13th floor, before plummeting back down again in total darkness when you least expect it. That’s not it though! You’ll shoot back up and down in a random sequence, and as the doors fly open, the entire park will hear your screams.

Ratatouille: The Adventure is another must-try for both kids and big kids alike. This 4D attraction shrinks you down to the size of Rémy and immerses you in a wild Parisian adventure.

4. Dine in style

Bistro Chez Remy at Disneyland Paris

When you think of theme park food, fine-dining might not be the first thing that comes to mind, but at Bistro Chez Rémy you can feast on tasty French cuisine. The restaurant is inspired by the popular Ratatouille movie, with all of the decor super-sized, to make you feel extra small- just like the loveable rat Rémy. You’ll see the world with his eyes, with huge umbrellas, cookbooks and cutlery all around you. But, what’s on the menu? Well, for the main course you can choose from grilled steak, roasted cod, sea bass and of course ratatouille. Desserts include Tiramisu, apple tart or a rich chocolate cake. If you want to make your visit to Disneyland Paris even more special, we’d recommend making a reservation for Bistro Chez Rémy.

5. Watch an amazing show

After spending the morning exploring the park, you might fancy a bit of a rest. This is the perfect time to watch one of the park’s amazing shows, as it gives you a chance to rest your feet while still keeping everyone entertained. Little ones will love Stitch Live! and Disney Junior Live on Stage! But if you’re looking for something for the whole family, we’d suggest either Mickey and the Magician-an all singing show featuring Mickey the magician and all of his pals, or the Moteurs… Action! Stunt Show Spectacular. This impressive show is packed with incredible stunts from start to finish, watch in awe as cars swerve, skid and even jump through fire! Mickey and the Magician is running until 2nd September 2018, so don't miss it.
