World's First Marvel Hotel is Opening at Disneyland Paris
Something ‘super’ is coming soon!
One of the most popular hotels at Disneyland Paris is about to get an incredible, superhero makeover…

Last week at the D23 Expo, Bob Chapek (Disney Parks & Resorts chairman) revealed some exciting news regarding Disneyland Paris. If you’ve visited before, you might be familiar with Disney’s Hotel New York. Well, the popular hotel is set to undergo an epic transformation, to become ‘Disney’s Hotel New York- The Art of Marvel’.

If you hadn’t already guessed by the name, the hotel is currently inspired by New York City, but that’s all about to change. Bob Chapek promised that the new superhero-themed hotel would be something incredible that would make Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) proud. He said, “I’m thrilled to announce that Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will transport our guests to the action-packed, inspiring world of Super Heroes including Iron Man, The Avengers, and Spider Man among others!”

As soon as you enter the hotel, you’ll be immersed into a superhuman world, surrounded by your favourite Marvel characters. Disney aren’t giving too much away at the moment, but rumours suggest that the hotel could be designed to resemble Stark Tower- Iron Man’s iconic Manhattan skyscraper.

You’ll be able to get a close-up look at authentic props and costumes from several Marvel movies and admire unique artwork inspired by the original comic books. The four-star hotel currently has a total of 565 guest rooms and a 1930’s art deco New York design. The art renderings seem to suggest that the upcoming makeover will enhance the existing New York theme (taking inspiration from Tony Stark’s hideout) and combine it with new Marvel-inspired décor.

Disney are yet to reveal an opening date for the all-new hotel, but a Marvel-themed test corridor has already opened, indicating the refurbishment might not be too far off. The Marvel makeover also supports the rumours that some superhero themed attractions could soon be opening at Disneyland Paris. While nothing is confirmed, we’ve got our fingers crossed!
