ATD's Guide to Using Disney’s Memory Maker
A handy guide!
We show you how to use Disney’s amazing Memory Maker photo package…

If you’re planning a holiday to Walt Disney World Resort and have already got your Disney tickets, you may already know that Disney’s Memory Maker package will be included absolutely free with adult ticket purchases! The package is worth $199 if purchased directly from the parks, so it’s a huge added value and will definitely add happiness to your holiday!

But, what is Memory Maker? Well, Disney's Memory Maker is an amazing photo service that lets you capture all of the magical moments from your holiday, from special character encounters to taking the plunge on the park's top rides and much more. When you get home you'll be able to look back at the best bits from your holiday and keep the photos forever.

Here’s our guide to making the most of your Memory Maker package:

Do I need to do anything before I go?

Before you go, it's a good idea to set up a My Disney Experience account, so you don’t need to worry about it when you arrive. This also means you can book fast passes for the rides up to 60 days in advance and make restaurant reservations up to 180 days in advance! To do so, head to the My Disney Experience site.

So how does it work?

Memory Maker gives you the chance to access dozens of professionally taken photos of you and your friends and family at the parks from your Disney account. Whether it’s standing in front of the iconic Cinderella castle, screaming as you plunge down Splash Mountain or the big grins as you meet your favourite characters, Disney’s photographers will always be on hand to capture those unforgettable moments.

Photos can be taken at all PhotoPass points, which will be automatically synced up to your Disney account when you visit the attraction’s Sales Center. Simply tap your MagicBand or card to the reader to attach your photos to your account.

You can find a map of all Disney Photo Pass locations here.

How can I view my photos?

As soon as the photos are linked to your account, you can view them on the Disney Photo Pass site and download an unlimited amount of photos to do with as you please! You can also forward them on to family and friends if you link up your accounts on the My Disney Experience website.

Once you have downloaded these photos, they are yours to keep and print without restriction. So don't panic, everything is taken care of and all those magical moments will be captured! Make sure to download them within 45 days however, as photos expire after this time.

If you've already downloaded the My Disney Experience App, you can download photos straight to your phone on the go using the free Wi-Fi in the parks.

The Memory Maker package is included absolutely free with your adult 2019 & 2020 Walt Disney World bookings! To explore ticketing options, please click here.
