Downtown Loop (Red Route) - Operates from 9.00 to 5.00pm every 15 minutes in the Summer/Spring and from 9.30am to 4.30pm every 20 minutes in the Fall/Winter. Total route duration: 1.5 hours. 

The Downtown Loop is a great way to explore Lower Manhattan including major neighbourhoods, The World Trade Centre, Battery Park, Soho & NoHo, Greenwich Village, the Financial District and more. Take a stroll along Wall Street to view the iconic Stock Exchange and Charging Bull, dine your way through Little Italy and Chinatown, and then shop 'til you drop at all the upscale boutiques that SoHo is known for!

Uptown Loop (Blue Route) included in the Essential and Explore ticket options - Operates from 10:00am to 4:00pm, every 30 minutes. Total route duration: 75 minutes. 

The Uptown Loop is an easy way to explore the Upper East Side, which is home to some of New York’s most popular museums. Visit the Frick Collection and the Metropolitan Museum of Art here to get lost in history and the arts. The loop also takes you through Midtown, passing by the Grand Central Terminal and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

  • You will be sent a gate-ready Big Bus Ticket. Simply print in advance or present on your smartphone for boarding.
  • A child ticket is available for children aged between 3 and 12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 2 years and under may travel free of charge. All Children must be accompanied by an adult. Strollers must be folded and stowed on the lower deck.
  • Luggage is not permitted on board the bus at this time.
  • Big Bus New York runs every day of the year, except for New Year’s Eve. Occasionally severe weather and special event days could affect service.
  • The tour company reserves the right to deviate from the route of a service where reasonably prudent to do so in the light of circumstances beyond the company’s control.
