Get up close and personal with kangaroos, journey through the rainforest on the iconic Kuranda Scenic Train, and glide above the treetops on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for jaw-dropping views.

Kick off your day in style! Hop on a Tropic Wings coach for a seamless hotel pick-up, heading straight to Freshwater Railway Station where your Kuranda adventure begins. Board the Kuranda Scenic Railway and journey through hand-cut tunnels and past stunning waterfalls as you wind your way to the picturesque Kuranda Village. Take your time to explore, shop for local goodies, or visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary (extra but worth it!).
Next up: Rainforestation Nature Park for an action-packed afternoon. Chow down on a hearty Aussie BBQ lunch, then hop on an Army Duck Tour and explore the lush rainforest from land and water. Plus, check out the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience, where you’ll not only catch a lively dance show but also learn how to throw a boomerang—talk about Instagram-worthy moments!
The fun doesn’t stop there. Get up close and personal with Aussie wildlife at the Koala & Wildlife Park—kangaroos, crocodiles, and cassowaries await! You can even snap a pic with a koala (for a small additional cost, but it’s definitely an experience you won’t want to miss!).
End the day in epic fashion with a ride on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, gliding above the treetops for unbeatable views of Barron Falls and the surrounding rainforest. With hotel drop-off at around 5:30 PM, this full-day experience packs in adventure, culture, and unbeatable scenery!

Terms and conditions for Classic Kuranda
- The itinerary is subject to change without notice. It may operate in reverse or in a different sequence.
- What to Bring: Your voucher, camera, hat, sunscreen & insect repellent, comfortable walking shoes, a bottle of water, money for drinks and snacks and a light jumper in winter months.
- Return transfers (pick up & drop off) are included from Cairns accommodation. Transfers are not available from private residences (including AirBnB properties) – guests will need to meet at Skyrail Smithfield Terminal, or make their own way to another pickup location.
- In relation to any Pandemic, we reserve the right to request customers to follow all government regulations current at time of service. Failure to follow these directives may result in refusal of travel.
- Operational times for traders can vary seasonally and may change at short notice. We recommend that passengers wishing to visit Kuranda markets check for up-to-date opening hours, which are available online.
- Infants aged 0-3 years travel free of charge.
- Pick-ups from Cairns are from central locations. Your nearest pick-up location will be advised when you re-confirm your booking locally.
*Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellations and amendments are allowed for bookings cancelled with the tour operator up to 24 hours before your chosen activity date. Please keep in mind that there is a significant time difference between Australia and the UK, so be sure to allow for this when making your cancellation. After the 24-hour window, no amendments or refunds will be provided.
