Christmas at Disneyland Paris is the most magical time of the year, with the park donned out in its festive best to make sure that this Christmas is definitely one to remember. The giant Christmas tree in the centre lights up the park with hundreds of twinkling lights, while the impressive overhanging garlands also add a sprinkle of Christmas sparkle to the park.
Beneath the majestic Christmas tree, look out for Santa, Mickey and Minnie singing their hearts out in a festive Christmas carol show exclusively for park guests as the park’s incredible tree puts on an enchanting light display in the background.
The Christmas decorations don’t end with the park though, with Disney’s most-loved Characters also decked out in the Christmas finery. Make sure you meet your favourites (including Santa) for a warm hug and even warmer Christmas wishes in their designated meet and greet spots, or watch out for them as the parade down Main Street, U.S.A.
Disney’s Christmas Parade is an event you really don’t want to miss if you’re at the Disneyland Paris park this Christmas. Santa, Mickey and friends lead the festive procession down Mainstreet at various times during the day, and this year the parade is joined by two brand new festive floats, making it extra special.
As if all this wasn’t enough, at the end of the night you have the incredible ‘Disney Dreams® of Christmas’ fireworks show to look forward to. This is the normal Disney fireworks spectacular which is sure to take your breath away all year-round, upgraded with a special Christmas twist! Keep your eyes peeled for an appearance from your favourite Frozen characters who will feature in this stunning light and water show.
This isn’t the only place Anna and Elsa will make an appearance at Disneyland Paris this Christmas though. There’s a special Frozen Sing-along to sing your heart out to, as well as A Royal Welcome, where you can snap a picture of the sisters in their horse-drawn carriage as it rolls through the streets of Disneyland Paris.
On the day itself, treat yourself to some festive fare at one of Disneyland Paris’ restaurants. At Walt’s – an American Restaurant, you can tuck into a set menu of a citrus crab verrine, smoked salmon cheesecake and spice-glazed duck breast served with squash purée and winter vegetables. To finish there’s truffle-flavoured cheese, Christmas dessert and even coffee with petits fours – phew!
