[QUOTEH of Dolphingirl;214430]For my birthday weekend we took off to London for a couple of days, Trains were cheap as were the hotels so why not.
Our home for two days, The Arora just outside Heathrow airport, good spot if you want a hotel for Heathrow, dont use the expensive shuttle buses, you can ride the public buses for free to and from the airport and two or three routes provide a good service basically to the front door

Does anybody remember the beatiful graceful concorde model that used to sit at the airport entrance, so what the @@@@@@@ is this. Used to be possible to get right next to the concorde and indeed on top of it if you were feeling brave.

First stop the Victoria and Albert Museum, a huge building full of stuff the English have stolen over the centuries, never really been into this museum, it does however have a Chihully.

Next Stop Harrods, its a bit like the Victoria and Albert except the exhibits are for sale. Its only about 10 minutes walk from the museum and there is a nice coffee shop half way.
