Attraction Tickets Direct forums are designed to allow our visitors a place to ask questions, share experiences and enjoy a community spirit with other travel fans. All visitors are welcome to participate. In an effort to keep the forums friendly and informative we have created some guidelines to ensure your experience is a positive one.
Please remember, this is a family friendly site and all posts should be suitable for viewing by all ages. Attraction Tickets Direct does not believe in censorship and wishes to promote lively, informative discussion within the forums. When participating in discussions we ask that you be respectful and that you follow the guidelines. If we determine a poster is not complying with the rules and treating others in a responsible, respectful manner they will be barred from further participation.
When posting on the message boards, please bear in mind the following Guidelines:
FOR SALE ADS: Sales ads, including e-bay or other auction links, are strictly prohibited on all of the Attraction Tickets Direct message boards. Anyone posting such sales ads will have their post deleted. ‘For Sale’ ads include contests, requests for donations or advertisements for charity events, unless you have received prior approval. If you wish to promote a charity event, please email webmaster@attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk for permission. Please do not post details of your event prior to approval.
SPAMMING: Spamming and trolling, including spamming via our private message system or member email is not allowed and will result in banning.
NO PROFANITY: Swearing, inappropriate photos or links to suggestive sites or photos, sexual or abusive content is not in keeping with the spirit of the Attraction Tickets Direct forums. The boards are equipped with censoring software and inappropriate words will be filtered, appearing as all asterisks. Attempts to bypass the word filter will result in the post being removed. Posts that include or link to pornography will be removed and the user name banned.
NO FIGHTING: The forums are intended to be light-hearted, but some topics may lead to disagreements. If you sense a topic or reply is irritating to you and you are unable to respond in a respectful manner, we request you hit the Back button and step away from the discussion. Please do not post religious or political debates. Fighting, rudeness, deliberately inflammatory posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated and will result in an infraction. Continued fighting may result in banning.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES: Links to, discussion of or promotion of illegal activity, including music and software piracy or intellectual property violations will not be tolerated. Discussion regarding ways to circumvent a business’s or service’s rules will be removed. Repeat violations will lead to an infraction or banning. Please do not post copyrighted material, unless it is owned by you or owned by Attraction Tickets Direct and is readily available to the public.
ADVERTISING: Although discussions regarding business, villas or services you have used are welcome on the Attraction Tickets Direct forum, direct advertising designed to promote a commercial venture that has not been previously approved will be removed. This includes choosing a user name that reflects a business, villa or service and/or links to a business, villa or service in your signature, unless previously approved. Links to a company website, if determined to be posted primarily to promote sales for that website, will be removed. Please do not use the forum for solicitation. If it is determined you are visiting the forums for the purpose of promoting a business, villa or service your account will be banned.
STAYING ON TOPIC: Each message board is designed to focus on a specific topic. Please look at the board choices before posting to determine which board is most appropriate for your question or topic. Occasionally, a moderator may move a post that belongs on another board. In that case, a redirect will be left, allowing posters to follow a link to the topic in its new location.
MODERATORS: Attraction Tickets Direct forums are moderated forums, to ensure your visits are friendly and pleasant. It is the responsibility of the moderators to monitor posts and enforce the guidelines as needed, which may result in a post being edited, deleted, moved or closed. We ask that you respect the moderators’ decisions, but if you feel your post has been unfairly treated, we request that you do not discuss the matter on the open forum; instead please contact webmaster@attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES: Once you have reached a specific number of posts you will be allowed to post links to other sites. You are welcome to link to your own website provided you a) post a prominent reciprocating link directly to Attraction Tickets Direct on your website, in a location that is clear and easy to find, b) are not posting links primarily to promote a for-profit or commercial venture that has not been pre-approved by Attraction Tickets Direct or c) you are not posting primarily to promote your own website. We also request that you check to be sure the information you are linking to is not already available on Attraction Tickets Direct. Inappropriate links or links that are broken up to circumvent our guidelines will be removed.
INFRACTIONS: Attraction Tickets Direct’s guidelines are designed to be in keeping with the spirit of a family friendly site. While it is rare for problems to develop, we have an infraction system in place to deal with the occasional issue in a fair and consistent manner.
If you incur an infraction you will be notified privately. If you feel you have been given an infraction unfairly, we ask that you do not query it on the open forum but instead contact webmaster@attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk.
Each infraction has a specific point value. Most offences will result in a warning first, or a warning and an expiring infraction. Serious violations or repeat infractions may result in banning. If an infraction occurs that is not covered by our current infraction system it will be dealt with on an individual basis, at the discretion of Attraction Tickets Direct.
