Question Disposing of excess baggage (clothing)!

    Hi there

We are off to Orlando on the 15th December for 2 weeks with our 3 year old son. I am planning to take his t-shirts and shorts from this summer (I am hopeful for fine weather!) but of course there is really no need for us to take them back to the UK with us as they will not fit him next summer.

Is there an easy way to arrange for them to be donated to charity? Is this something I should ask our hotel about when we arrive maybe?

Thanks in advance - only 6 weeks and counting!

Places like Salvation Army and Purple Heart are always happy to take dontaions. You may want to contact either of them directly and they can even arrange a pick-up. I think they both have online scheduling for pick up.

Not sure if you can use it in the UK, but they'll give you a reciept so that you can write it off on your taxes.
