    Default What would you choose!

You are told that you can, for the last time in forever only do,

    One park
    One ride
    One parade
    One special event
    One show
    One fireworks
    One restaurant
    One snack
    One shop
    One character
    One product

It can be any place in Orlando and the selections can be still in existence or from the past.

    What would you choose?

    Oooh, fun!!

One park: This is harder than ever before, so I'm going to side-step a bit and say Discovery Cove.

    One ride: Haunted Mansion. Classic.

    One parade: Tapestry of Nations.

One special event: Surprisingly, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

    One show:Candlelight Processional.

    One fireworks: IllumiNations.

One restaurant: Impossible to choose. I'm going to say Seasons 52. They never fail to impress, and their menu changes often.

    One snack: Popcorn!

One shop: Marshalls/HomeGoods, only because I can get pretty much everything there.

    One character: Gotta be Mickey.

    One product: Credit Card!

One park—by a very fine margin, Epcot over AK. Or maybe AK over Epcot.
One ride—World of Motion because I only got to ride it once and have very scant memories of it, but remember loving it.
One parade—absolutely no hesitation, Tapestry of Nations.
One special event—International Food & Wine Festival back when it was less manic.
One show—The Adventurer's Club. My heart bleeds even typing it.
    One fireworks—IllumiNations.
One restaurant—this one is really tricky because eating is the most important part for us, but things fall in and out of favour. We're fickle! Maybe Victoria & Albert's.
One snack—we don't snack, but we do love 'picky' meals made up of appetisers. We've had some tiny but expertly curated small plates of cheese at both the California Grill bar and Mizner's Lounge. Maybe one of those, but I might come back to this.
One shop—not sure. Maybe the forerunner of Mouse Gear that had a mezzanine.
    One character—Robin Hood.
    One product—struggling with this one.

I might also add an option of...

One resort—I'd go for the pie-in-the-sky option of Cinderella Castle, but that's cheating, so I'll say the (equally pie-in-the-sky) Copper Creek Cabins (Wilderness Lodge). We stayed in a one-bed villa there last trip and, although we've visited the resort many, many times, staying there made it extra special.

I've just seen Susan's responses and have realised that I didn't need to confine it to WDW! On that basis, I might need to re-think.

    Great idea, Ret. Here goes...

One park - the toughest of all, but Epcot.
One ride - I think this would have to be Pirates of the Caribbean (although it may become Rise of the Resistance in time!)
One parade - like Deb and Susan, this is a no-brainer - Tapestry of Nations
One special event - Halloween Horror Nights
One show - To me, IllumiNations is more 'show' than mere 'fireworks,' hence it gets my vote here (but I really like Deb's vote for the Adventurers Club)
    One fireworks - Wishes
One restaurant - Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge
One snack - a baguette from Les Halles at Epcot's France pavilion
One shop - Art of Disney at Disney Springs
One character - Peter Pan, of course!
One product - A lightsaber from Savi's Workshop!!

Just love it Ret, great idea.

One park - must be Magic Kingdom. Pause reality and breathe.

One ride - Splash Mountain. Says Disney!

One parade - MK Afternoon Parade. And sigh!

One special event - Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness.

    One show - La Nouba

One fireworks - Magic Kingdom, who can beat the castle as a backdrop?

One restaurant - Denny's. Says America.

One snack - Earl's Club from the Earl of Sandwich.

One shop - Art of Disney

    One character - Boing! Tigger

One product - Salt Water Taffy

You're a fan of MK, then, TF!

We did Mickey's Backyard BBQ on our first trip in 1992. I've got some great pictures of the girls that we still laugh about.

One park - it’s not got any of my favourites in it, but the Magic Kingdom. The first word sums it up. Every corner yo7 turn leads to a new adventure.
One ride - Everest. Greatest coaster of all time.
One parade - Honestly can’t remember, but they are all awesome.
One special event - Didn’t go on any. Next time.....
One show - the rescue pet show at Seaworld. Just loads of fun, and when you are missing your dog like crazy, you get the chance to cuddle a Great Dane.
One fireworks - Any at the Magic Kingdom. The Castle really sets it for me.
One restaurant - Longhorn Steakhouse. I’m drooling
One snack - the freshly roasted cinnamon nuts they sell in carts around the parks. You get the smell and run!
One shop - Walmart. Any shop that has home colonic irrigation kits on the shelf is a winner.
One character - 3 way split for human ones between Doc Brown at Universal, the Roadwork Construction guys at Hollywood Stuidios, and The Men In Black. Interactions with all 3 that had us in hysterics. Costumes would have to be Chip and Dale. Just cheeky.
One product - Joe 9. The registration of the car we hired. Best car I’ve ever driven.
