Aulani - The New Disney Resort and Spa
Walt Disney World opens new Spa & Resort, Aulani, in Ko Olina, Hawaii.
On the 29th August 2011 yet another of Disney Imagineer’s visions will manifest in the shape of new luxury resort and spa, Aulani

Situated in the dreamy Hawaiian tropics, Aulani is just 17 miles from Honalulu International Airport in the dreamy utopia of Ko Olina Resort Community and Marina. The new family resort is set to wow those that enjoy a little rest and relaxation in the world’s most beautiful and exotic of locations. Aulani is a magnificent ocean facing sanctuary residing on 21 acres of land and is planned to host 360 hotel rooms and 481 Disney Vacation Club villas. Amid the crystal blue sea and warm soft sands the the resort features a number of recreational activities for children, an interactive water and play area and two traditional Hawaiian restaurants

Although Disney standards the world over ensures nothing but perfection, Disney Imagineers have collaborated with local architects and culture experts to offer guests more than just the impeccable Disney experience, but an authentic encounter with this wonderful part of the world. With the acute attention to detail in the design of this fascinating edifice, which pays homage to Hawaiian art, right through to the  cultural practices, Aulani reflects the typical Hawaiian way of living and thinking.

The first stages of Aulani will open to guests on 29th August 2011.
