It was the 12th April 1992 when Disneyland Paris opened up its gates to the public. At the time the European Disney theme park was known as Euro Disney Resort and has acquired many alias’ throughout its twenty years. However, despite the many name changes, one commonality has remained – the park is a huge success, attracting 15 million park guests a year from Europe and across the globe. To celebrate this wonderful achievement Disneyland Paris will be throwing a big bash in typical dazzling Disney style.
In preparation for the big event, Disneyland Paris will hire 4,000 employees in addition to the usual 14,500 members of staff. Those with Disney tickets will be able to enjoy new and special attractions and displays that have been put in place to create an extraordinary Disney experience. A new night time show titled Dreams, featuring luminous lights, sparkles and all the miraculous visuals we have grown to know and love at Disney’s light shows will ignite the night sky. The world premiere of the Disney Colour, Light and Magic show will treat guests to a never seen before Disney production. While the Disney Magic on Parade Show, a meet and greet with Mickey. floats and festive music and a whole array of other Disney celebrations keep the park festive for this joyous occasion.
