Disneyland Paris Hits Visitor Milestone

Disneyland Paris Hits Visitor Milestone
The world famous Disneyland Paris, Europe’s number one tourist destination, recently reached another park milestone; welcoming its 250 millionth visit since first opening in 1992.

Visitor numbers for the park are currently very strong and it’s no wonder with its two theme parks, two convention centres, seven Disney hotels, leisure centre and 27-hole golf course. The C.E.O. of Euro Disney, Philippe Gas, stated that reaching the symbolic figure of one quarter of a billion visits really highlights the way the French and European communities had whole heartedly taken to the park over the years. The visitor statistics show just how popular it is in Europe, with 88% of the guests coming from the European area; of which 49% were from France itself.

It’s also predicted that sales of Disneyland Paris tickets will stay strong for the foreseeable future, meaning hopefully the park won’t be waiting as long for the next major visitor milestone; 500 million.
