Disney's Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival 2012 is in full bloom. See how the flowers are flourishing!
Now that Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival is in full bloom, we thought we’d give you an insight into how the green fingered at Disney World are enjoying their Disney tickets this 2012.
The Epcot flower festival is all about showing off all the ways that flowers and gardens can blossom and bloom to be enjoyable, intricately beautiful with designs that are, in typical Disney style, out of this world. As always all the fun floral Disney character topiaries are present; Winnie the Pooh and friends hang out in the United Kingdom pavilion, Bambi and co have blossomed in the Butterfly House and Beauty and the Beast celebrate romance in the France pavilion.
However, in addition to all the Disney character topiaries we all expect to see at the flower fest the Haiti garden and market place displays a more evocative side to the festival. This particularly notable garden, hosted by Haiti organisation Haiti Originale, has been featured to support Haitian produce, such as coffee and sugar cane, in an effort to contribute towards sustainable Haitian economic and social growth.
The magic of Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival hasn’t stopped blooming just yet. The flower fest isn’t over till the 20th May, so it’s not too late to get those Disney tickets and be part of this floral Disney event.
