Huskies and Bears Enjoy SeaWorld
The Washington Huskies and Baylor Bears will face each other in the Alamo Bowl tomorrow, and have spent some downtime relaxing at SeaWorld before the big match.

These college footballers are used to being bigger than most people they come across, but senior Alameda Ta’amu was floored when he found himself with a 2,000 pound giant walrus called Taneka. Ta’amu and a teammate challenged themselves to a sit-up contest against the animal, and the player admitted that he was struggling to keep up!

Both SeaWorld and Orlando’s Discovery Cove offer the chance to try exciting new things, as the teams found out for themselves on their visit. Many of the Huskies and Bears enjoyed playing with beluga whales, and all agreed it was an amazing experience. Husky Cort Dennison remarked how slimy and fat the massive creatures were, but he was quick to tell people that he wasn’t scared. He did confess, though, that he may not have got in the pool if it had been a killer whale!
