This year sees Kennedy Space Centre throw its first ever Christmas celebration, titled 'Holidays in Space'. Undoubtedly Kennedy Space Centre's 'Holidays in Space' is going to be a Christmas experience literally out of this world. The International Space Centre will be bathed in twinkling starry lights and shimmering Christmas decorations to create a festive cheer. Santa Claus will be hanging out in his very own launch centre, waiting to hear all your Christmas wishes. Carol singers will fill the air with Christmas songs, fully attired in astronaut flight suits and the International Space Station's partnering countries will share with you their countries traditional Christmas cookies and treats.
In the Rocket Garden you won't be able to help but marvel at the magnificent forty foot tall tree. Although the tree is just as huge as all Orlando theme park Christmas trees tend to be, the Kennedy Space Centre tree isn't quite the same. The towering tree will be decorated with six hundred miniature flags from the fifteen International Space Station partner countries. The Space station also invites you to skate on a synthetic ice skating rink that will be installed just for the occassion, also located in the Rocket Garden.
If you're heading to Orlando for the Christmas period, get your Kennedy Space Centre tickets here and enjoy the 'Holidays in Space', from now until the 1st January.
