It’s literally a matter of days now till Christmas Bricktacular transforms LEGOLAND Florida into a Christmas Lego fantasy perfect for kids and families crazy about Lego and in love with Christmas cheer. Christmas Bricktacular begins the 8th December, with a special light ceremony on the 5th, and comes to an end on the 31st.
On the 5th December a yet to be revealed master of ceremony will be hosting LEGOLAND Florida’s first ever tree lighting ceremony. The LEGOLAND Florida tree stands triumphantly in The Beginning, in the form of a giant thirty foot tall Christmas tree made from 270,000 pieces of LEGO and DUPLO bricks. However, from the 8th December onwards one lucky family will help to light the miraculous Christmas LEGO tree.
Festive decorations and a happy holiday spirit will see LEGOLAND Florida sparkle with Christmas merriment. To hold on to your memories of the Floridian park's first Christmas be sure not to miss out on your LEGOLAND Florida family photo with Santa Claus. You'll be able to catch Santa hanging out in the historical botanical garden, where he'll be making daily appearances.
LEGOLAND Florida’s seasonal festivity continues on the 31st December with a New Year’s Eve celebration dedicated entirely to children. Of course no New Year’s celebration is quite complete without fireworks, so LEGOLAND accordingly lights up Winter Haven with LEGO fireworks to see in the New Year. Because this LEGO – tastic New Year’s Eve is all about the children, this firework display will begin at the earlier time of 7pm, better known as midnight KST (which is LEGO lingo for Kid’s standard time).
If you're lucky enough to be spending the Christmas season in Florida, make sure it's a Bricktacular one! Don't wait another second to purchase your LEGOLAND tickets.
