For those of you yet to take your little ones to the theme park capital’s newest addition Legoland Florida, you’d better try and keep up! There’s another Legoland Florida experience causing Legoland tickets to fly off the shelves for summer!
Like the rest of the major players in the theme park capital of the world, Legoland has followed suit, with plans for a Legoland water park in the pipeline. SeaWorld, Universal and Disney each have their own water parks causing a splash in Orlando and Legoland plans to do the same at Winter Haven. Of course, unlike the aforementioned, Legoland will remain true to its roots, becoming the theme park capital’s first ever water park dedicated entirely to children.
“We’re very excited to share plans for this amazing new attraction,” said Legoland Florida General Manager Adrian Jones. “True to our mission, the water park attraction has been designed for families with children ages 2 to 12 and will add hours of water play to an already full day and move Legoland Florida into a multi-day experience for vacationers. The additional also adds another great value proposition for our annual pass members.”
The Legoland theme park will predominately be a renovation of its predecessor, Cypress Gardens’ Splash Island Water Park, with a number of new add-ons. “This newest attraction is just one of many ways we will continue to evolve LEGOLAND Florida over the next several years,” said Jones. “Creating a multi-visit proposition for families adds another dimension to the LEGOLAND Florida offering. Adding the water park attraction will fulfill this criteria as well as offering a unique attraction in Central Florida. ”
The Legoland Water Park will feature tons of splashing rides, including the Lego Wave Pool with Imagination Station, Joker Soaker and the Duplo Splash Safari. The new Legoland Water Park is set to open this May.
Don’t hesitate to get your Legoland tickets and have a splashing good time with the little ones this summer!
