The group travelled to the French capital where members took part in the opening ceremony, attended special workshops with Disney professionals and attending a ceilidh with Donald Duck. The finale of the girl’s trip to the popular theme park consisted of them taking part in Disney’s Main Street Parade with around 400 highland dancers. Of course the girls had plenty of time to explore the park, hit the rides and meet their favourite characters. Funding for the trip was from the girl’s local community, who raised nearly £12,000 through various events from April to November.
