We’ve had nine out of the ten haunted houses revealed to us for Halloween Horror Nights 2019 at Universal Orlando Resort, and this announcement is all about their horrifying popular ‘scare zones’, placed throughout the park.
This year, five scare zones are taking over Universal Studios Florida, and fan-favourite Academy of Villains returns with a brand new, exciting show. Let’s take a look at the details:
Zombieland Double Tap
Film fans rejoice, as Zombieland makes an appearance in the form of a zombie-fied scare zone. This attraction makes guests brush up on the rules of survival, placing you in the middle of the United States of Zombieland. With the infection spreading, and bloodthirsty zombies popping up everywhere, the most important rule to remember is to always double tap.
Rob Zombie Hellbilly Deluxe
One for all the heavy metal fans here, as you step into the horror of Rob Zombie’s music and imagery in this pulse-sounding scare zone. Come face-to-face with his very own twisted creations and live inside his music as it cranks up to a frenzy.
Anarch-cade
Step back to the 80’s with this arcade-inspired scare zone, which has taken over Avenue of the Stars. It might look like a party at first glance, but you’ll soon learn that “Game Over” means your very permanent end. Avoid the gang of neon slashers in this terrifying game.
Vanity Ball
We all know that beauty is pain, but have you ever taken it so literally? In the eerie streets of Hollywood, your flesh becomes the canvas, as blade-wielding artists slice up willing participants into horrifying works of art. Going under the knife takes on a whole new meaning here.
Vikings Undead
The Viking warriors were brutal, there’s no doubt about that. And that’s just when they were alive...imagine facing them as the undead! Well, in Central Park, they’ve risen and laid siege to the area with an onslaught of gore. Good luck!
Academy of Villains: Altered States
This popular attractions again to Halloween Horror Nights, in an extreme experiment of body and mind. The group of artists is back for an all-new performance featuring a killer mix of dance and amazing theatrics, all set against a dark, gothic backdrop.
Halloween Horror Nights returns to Universal Orlando Resort from September 6 to November 2, and features 10 haunted houses, five scare zones, and many shows.
So far, nine houses have been announced:
