The Orlando Cat Cafe

The first cat cafe in the Orlando area, this popular joint has been welcoming guests since 2016, and was also Central Florida’s debut cat cafe. The adorable cats and kittens are also adoptable, showcasing their playful antics and soothing purrs.

It’s both a cozy coffeehouse, making it the ideal place to enjoy a cup of coffee, and a Cat Play Area/Adoption Area, where 12-15 cats roam freely. You can either enjoy your beverage in the coffee shop and watch the cats through a viewing window or, for a small entry fee, you can bring your own food and drink and cuddle the feline residents too.

The Orlando Cat Cafe is located around four miles away from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, in the Town Center at Cagan Crossings. The Cat Play Area is open Monday 12pm - 6pm and Tues-Sun 10am - 6pm. Entry is $8ph for adults, and $4ph for children under 12. Booking online beforehand is highly recommended.

The Kitty Beautiful

Located in Downtown Orlando, The Kitty Beautiful is a brand-new cat cafe, which officially opened earlier this month. Choose from pastries, coffee, teas, organic juices, kombucha, locally sourced snacks, beer and wine, and watch and play with the many cats which call the cafe home.

Guests pay a small cover fee, and in return receive a welcome, relaxed area to unwind with a friendly, fully-roaming feline, all of which are available to adopt.

The cafe also offers special events, including Mewvie Nights, Cat Yoga, Date Night Specials, Study Nights, Story Time, and much more. ‘Cat Time’ is $10 an hour, and reservations are strongly recommended. You can book online here.
