The Epcot Food and Wine Festival is one of the most popular Disney festivals every year, and every year it’s bigger and better than ever! This year, Disney have announced that the festival will be a record breaking 75 days of foodie fun, so there are more chances than ever to catch it while you’re there.
If you’re not familiar with the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, during this time the World Showcase part of the park is taken over by various food and drink stalls which offer food from all over the world – reflecting the park’s international vibe. You can pick up dumplings from the China pavilion, middle-eastern inspired food from Morocco and round it off with a crepe and a glass of bubbly from Paris – all in one evening as you wait for the incredible Illuminations fireworks.
We were lucky enough to attend this year’s festival and we would definitely recommend you saving plenty of room as you’ll want to try everything; if your eyes are bigger than your belly, make sure you choose wisely! You can also attend the festival just to grab a few drinks in the evening before the fireworks, so if you’ve already eaten elsewhere there’s still plenty of new things to try.
This year, the celebrations starts on August 31st and run right the way through September and October and into November, until the 13th of the month. Make sure you don’t miss it if you’re in Orlando at this time. Keep checking back to find out more about this fabulous gourmet festival.
