New Epcot Food and Wine Stalls Announced for 2017
Every year Epcot Food and Wine Festival gets bigger and better than ever!
This year there are 5 new stalls to enjoy when you visit this famous Epcot festival this year…

Each year, Epcot Food and Wine Festival draws in the crowds and, once you’ve been, you’ll understand why people visit again and again. This year, the festival has been extended to last a full 66 days, so there’s more opportunity than ever to visit. The dates for this year’s festival run from August 31st – November 13th.

The full list of the Global Marketplaces coming to the festival has just been announced, with more than 35 delectable different cuisines available for sampling. And this year, 5 new stalls have been added to the already extensive line up. To begin we have ‘Active Eats’, where guests can enjoy dishes like loaded mac ‘n’ cheese with bacon cheddar cheese, peppers and green onions, or roasted salmon with quinoa salad and arugula chimichurri, or sweet avocado crema with strawberries, yellow cake and tortilla streusel washed down with Chateau Ste. Michele Cold Creek Riesling.

For something a little sweeter, head over to The Almond Orchard hosted by Blue Diamond Almond Breeze for a Banana Almond Sundae layered with fresh berries and topped with dark chocolate and blueberry almonds and a glass of champagne.

We have a feeling that the new Flavors from Fire stand is going to be very popular with our customers. Everything is barbecued over at this stall (except the dessert of course!), with Piggy Wings: roasted pork wings with Korean BBQ sauce and sesame seedsand smoked corned beef with warm crispy potatoes, pickled onions and blonde ale beer fondue featuring BelGioioso Romano and America Grana cheeses.

Rounding off the new culinary offerings is Coastal Eats where, as the name suggests, you can treat yourself to some of the most delicious sea food at the festival. This includes: lump crab cake with Napa cabbage slaw and avocado lemongrass cream, or baked shrimp scampi dip with sourdough baguette, and seared scallops with roasted corn and butterbean succotash and chili-chipotle butter sauce.

Over at Light Lab, the final new stall joining the Food Festival this year, they have a long list of incredible cocktails, frozen drinks, IPAs and many more drinks to choose from. Don’t miss it if you’ve eaten elsewhere but fancy a specialist drink!

This year is set to be the biggest year ever for the Epcot Food and Wine festival, so if you’re visiting Orlando from August 31 – November 13 this year you won’t want to miss it! Admission to the festival is included with your 2017 Walt Disney World tickets.
