Last week Wednesday, the 6th March, Walt Disney World's annual International Flower and Garden Festival began, bringing to Epcot more than one hundred themed topiaries, new exhibitions and presentations to the delight of green fingered enthusiasts. However, in addition to blooming new Disney topiaries, a new feature has been added to the Flower Fest that we're pretty sure will get your mouths watering. A collaboration between Disney horticulturists and Disney chefs introduce some delicious new foods to the Flower and Garden experience that implements produce that's local to Florida and in season. This new foodie feature at Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival is great for gardeners and horticulturists that are interested in growing and cultivating their own food gardens and even better for those that just love to eat and drink their way around the world at Epcot.
Also at Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival, in addition to improving your cultivation skills, feasting your eyes on spectacular Disney topiaries and indulging in delicious Disney culinary delights, you'll also be able to dance to the beats of Epcot's Flower Power Concert Series. The Flower Power Concert Series brings a different artist to perform at Epcot each weekend, (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) throughout its duration. The Flower Power Concert Series kicked off with performances from Mickey Dolenz last weekend. Take a look at the entire 2013 Flower Power Concert Series line - up and check out the new Disney topiaries.
